After years of litigation, the Friday the 13th franchise is finally back—and Schuyler White is the first actor to portray Jason Voorhees since Derek Mears and Caleb Guss in 2009. Signed on with Jason Universe, Schuyler made his debut as the legendary slasher in the short film Sweet Revenge, reintroducing the character to a new generation of horror fans.
Schuyler is also known for his work as the lead zombie in the cult horror hit The Haunt, and for his role in the upcoming The Barn Part 3. Some of Schuyler’s film credits include Don’t Breathe 2, Little Evil, Wrong Turn, and Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley.
In addition to his on-screen work, Schuyler is a skilled special effects artist and the owner of Ohio Burn Unit, holding 11 Guinness World Records for extreme fire stunts — from the most people set on fire at once to the tallest fire breath ever recorded.
